Hello. This is the bit where we have to get serious. Please read through our terms of use before registering. Admittedly they're the least exciting part of our site but they're very important to help keep everybody safe and happy!
Ebabee.co.uk is designed to be a friendly, enjoyable and useful experience but as with any transaction, there are risks involved. By accessing ebabee.co.uk ("ebabee") you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions which have been designed to make sure that ebabee works for everyone. Ebabee reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time and by continuing to access the site you agree to be bound by the most current version of the terms and conditions.
Using ebabee
While using ebabee you agree that you will not:
post any content that is abusive, threatening. obscene, defamatory or indecent
violate, break or breach any laws
sell any counterfeit items or infringe any third party rights
post. list or upload any inaccurate, false or misleading content
distribute or post spam, chain letters or pyramid schemes
distribute viruses or any other content that may harm ebabee and/or its users
harvest or otherwise collect information about others including email addresses, without their consent
manipulate the price of any item or interfere with any other members listing
register with any inappropriate (e.g. vulgur, obscene, offensive etc) usernames
You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to ebabee and any consequences that may result from your post. Please do not assume that the offer, sale, purchase, export or import of any item is valid and legal simply because it is listed on our site.
Membership
Membership to ebabee is only available to those who can form a legally binding contract. Ebabee does not permit minors (under 18) to register. If a member fails to sign up with their correct age their account will be terminated immediately.
Ebabee members cannot misrepresent their identity or create a false identity. All members must provide accurate and valid contact information including a valid email address.
Right to suspend and terminate
At it's own discretion, ebabee reserves the right to terminate any listing or use of the service immediately and without notice if we believe that you are not abiding by the terms of the site.
General Terms
Ebabee acts as a venue for users to buy and sell baby related goods. All the items listed on our site must be transferable. We operate on an auction and fixed price format and allow sellers to set the start price for their auction items or a fixed price for their fixed price items. We are not in any way involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. As a result we have no control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, feedback or any other content posted by users. We do not guarantee the ability of sellers to sell items, the ability of buyers to pay for items or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction or return an item. Any contract entered into is solely between the buyer and seller.
Ebabee shall not be responsible for any items sold, for any damage to items during transit or during the inspection period, nor for misrepresentations and/or breaches of contract by either buyer and/or seller. Ebabee will not be responsible for the cost of procurement of substitute goods or any losses resulting from any goods purchased or obtained.
Ebabee assumes no liability for the content of the listings. However if you fall victim of a fraudulent transaction we will assist you where we can.
Listings on ebabee must not use techniques to avoid or circumvent ebabee fees. Sellers must not offer the opportunity through ebabee to purchase the item or other merchandise outside of ebabee.
Ebabee does not allow sellers to place links to web pages that offer to trade, sell or purchase goods or services outside the ebabee market. This applies whether it is a static url or an active link or just a name of another site. Ebabee does not permit links or references to sites or web pages offering merchandise not permitted on ebabee.
Ebabee does not permit the sale of recalled items, used nappies, baby foods or any other perishables. Ebabee does not permit the sale of used toiletries including but not limited to creams, lotions, sprays etc.
If either you or we terminate your membership, you will continue to owe us any money which you owed to use before termination.
Buyer rules
Buyers cannot:
Commit to buying an item without paying
Bid or offer with no serious intention of buying. Each bid of offer on a fixed price item is legally binding once submitted.
Bid of offer on an item where they do not meet the sellers terms as detailed in the item listing or bid with the intention of disrupting a listing.
Engage in shill bidding to increase an items price or to create artificiall desirability. Shill bidding is when sellers - or someone they know - place a bid on their item to drive the price up. This is called artificial bidding and is strictly prohibited on ebabee. Bidders on an item must be wholly independent from the seller of that item.
Seller rules
Sellers cannot:
List an item that they do not intend to sell. Once an item is listed and it receives a bid then the seller is legally bound to sell that item to the highest bidder. Or if someone offers the fixed price, the seller is also legally bound to sell the item.
Put any false or misleading content on their listings. They must ensure that their listings are as accurate and honest as possible.

Fees and Payment terms
Auction and fixed price style listing on ebabee is free, unless a reserve price has been set. Ebabee charges sellers a fee on any item that has sold. For details on the fee structure, please see the fees page.
Sellers will be sent an invoice at the end of each calendar month for all fees payable for that month. Sellers are required to settle their invoices in full within 4 business days of receipt of the invoice. Should a seller breach these terms we reserve the right to suspend their account without notice and take any legal action we deem necessary.
Property
All content included on this site including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics is the property of ebabee and it's suppliers of content.
All articles published are the property of ebabee and cannot be reproduced in whole or part without getting prior written permission from ebabee.
Disclaimer
Ebabee may provide links to other websites. However in doing so we are in no way implying an endorsement or recommendation of those sites and/or their content.
Where we recommend products, if we have actually seen and used the product we state this clearly. Otherwise please assume we haven not seen or tested the product. Where we tell you about offers we make every effort to ensure that the information is accurate. However we will not be responsible for any inaccurate information. Please also note that any offers may be withdrawn/changed after we have told you about them. Any prices we indicate are guides and can change without notice.
Privacy
Ebabee does not rent or sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes, without your explicit consent. We view protection of users privacy as a very important community principle.
