Christmas gift ideas baby boys

I can’t believe I’m talking Christmas already – where has this year gone?! But Christmas is coming and that means it’s time for me to share some gift ideas with you.  Every year I ask you guys if you want gift lists and every year I get a big, huge yes!  So once again I will be sharing lots and lots of gift ideas for kids of different ages and some ideas for mums too.

To kick of this years gift list, I’ve got a whole range of Christmas gift ideas for baby boys.  Babies don’t need much but it’s always fun to spoil them especially at this time of the year.  So I’ve gathered a range of fun toys, a few clothes and books most of which are suitable for babies from 0-2 years.  I will be sharing a separate gift list for baby girls but as you’ll see there are many gifts on both lists that will be loved by baby boy or girl.

1. mountain cushion | 2. peter pan collar striped shirt | 3. penguin in sail boat bath toy | 4. simon the elephant wooden toy | 5.  pompom knit hat | 6.  whale soft toy (can be personalised) | 7.  metallic polka dot print leather bluchers | 8.  knitted tree trousers | 9.  animal mobile | 10. rabbit ears sweater | 11. camper van soft toy | 12.  musical mushroom | 13. my first storybook and fish toy

Whenever I hear a friend announce their pregnancy, I get so excited for them especially if it’s their first.  Although these days most of my friends are on their second or third ones and even fourth ones (what are they thinking 😉  When you’ve had more than one kid, the chances are that you have more than enough clothes, toys and all the other baby paraphernalia you can possibly need.  So when it comes to newborn gift ideas for these babies, I like to try and think outside the box.  I recently came across Ma Premiere Box and thought it was such a sweet little idea especially for those babies who have everything.

Ma Premiere Box is a ready made gift box that comes in two sizes – small or large.  The small box contains an adorable stuffed toy, a security blanket, a notebook, some badges and a funny postcard.  The larger box has all this plus scented water and a tote bag.   This is all beautifully packaged in a cute keepsake box.  And there’s a boy version and a girl version.  I love that the box is just as much for the parents as it is for the new baby and I also love that you can be sure that your gift will be unique and fun even for a baby who has everything.  It’s also a great present to give from a group of colleagues or friends of the expectant mother.  Next time a friend announces their 2nd, 3rd or 4th child, I know what newborn gift I’ll be giving.

"Christmas gifts for newborns and babies" Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I haven’t!  I keep telling myself it’s only November so there’s plenty of time.  But in reality I know these next few weeks are going to whiz by and then serious panic will set in.  While I continue to procrastinate on my shopping,  I have started getting some fun gift ideas ready for you and the first one (probably my favourite) is a list of lovely Christmas gifts for babies.

"seagulls bib and baby wrap set""butterfly bib and swaddle set""clouds bib and swaddle blanket"Ketiketa is a wonderful French brand with a Nepalese twist.  They create clothes, bed linen and accessories for babies, girls and boys using traditional Nepalese fabrics and materials.  The textile in question is called ‘dumbar kumari’ named after a Nepalese princess who brought the technique of block printing back from India to Nepal in the 19th Century.  Today I’m lusting after their beautiful bib and baby wrap sets that come in an equally beautiful gift box.  I’m loving the delicate prints, the softness of the cotton voile and the elegance of the packaging.  Ketiketa have managed to marry French style with Nepalese tradition to create super elegant and chic clothes and accessories for kids.  To get these baby bib sets head to Ola Deco.

And here’s where you’ll find some more chic French baby bibs.
