donna wilson aw15 collection

I have been a huge fan of all things Donna Wilson for a long time.  If you already know Donna Wilson, you’ll know that her designs are always colourful and playful.  The designs are just as much for adults as they are for kids which is what I love about her creations.  So I wanted to share some of my favourite pieces from her gorgeous new AW collections.  How cool is that women’s bear shawl?  It’s a super cute shawl but I also love it as a rug or a throw on a kids bed.  And the new melamine plates and bowls are really quirky too like that hungry wolf tray which I love for adding a bit of fun to my kitchen.  Now back to the giveaway.

"handmade doll giveaway"

With Christmas coming, it’s the perfect time to give.  So today it’s another giveaway.  This time for a gorgeous handmade doll that would make an adorable Christmas gift.  Read on for all the details.

"handmade dolls for kids"

Do you know pink nounou?  It’s a little studio in Portugal that makes the cutest handmade dolls and soft toys as well as sweet paper products like notebooks, posters and party invitations.  All these goodies are made by Ana who is a mum and a graphic designer.  Ana has a very distinctive style that is colourful and playful which is very appealing to kids but also to anyone young at heart.  I fell in love with Ana’s creations a long time ago because to put it simply, everything that Ana makes leaves you feeling happy.

"unique handmade dolls"

Ana kindly sent Anya a doll too and Anya loves it.  It’s become her nightly sleeping companion and her daytime ‘friend’ so when I took it away to take pictures there were tears.  This doll is called Amelia and each one is different.  Different fabrics are used for the top and the bottom half of the doll to keep the dolls unique.  The doll has no loose bits so it’s not only great for little girls but for younger kids too and would make a lovely Christmas gift.

The prize:  The winner picked at random will win one Amelia doll.  The colour of the doll will be different from the one pictured as each doll is handmade and unique.

To enter:  Simply visit the ebabee shop and Pink Nounou and sign up to both the newsletters.  Then come back here and leave a comment below saying that you have done so. Your entry is only valid when all steps are completed. (Remember sometimes newsletter sign-up confirmation emails can go in your spam folder so do check there too)

One entry per person and this competition is open to all my readers worldwide. – YAY!  The competition closes at midnight (UK time) on Tuesday 25th November 2014.  Any entries after this time will not be counted.  The winner will be announced on this post and on my ebabee facebook page on Thursday 27th November.  Good luck!

UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed. The winner is Alexandra. Congrats Alexandra!

"win baby products giveaway"I remember the crazy buying I did before Anya was born.  I bought way too much because somebody somewhere convinced me that I absolutely needed it.  Of course I never ended up using a lot of the things but at the time I didn’t know any better.  Recently I came across the Finnish concept of all expectant mums receiving a baby ‘starter pack’ and I thought it was such a sweet and practical idea.  The State sends all mums to be a cardboard box filled with baby essentials like bodysuits, sleeping bags, bathing products, bedding and more.  Once emptied, the cardboard box with a supplied mattress becomes the baby’s first bed.  Isn’t that a lovely custom and so helpful for a new mum?

"almondella baby gift box""win baby products giveaway"

Almondella (a new-ish Finnish brand) has taken this concept and created a range of beautiful boxes to suit various ages from newborn to 3 years old.  Depending on the age and sex of the baby, Almondella put together a box with stylish toys, clothes, books, bathing products and more.  I think this is such a lovely idea so I’ve joined hands with Almondella to giveaway one box of goodies to one lucky reader.  The winner’s box will be tailored to their childs age and sex and will be full of the cutest goodies as you can see from the pictures.

"win Scandinavian baby products giveaway"

Most of Almondella’s products come from small, independent Scandinavian brands which offer beautiful design and products that are practical and built to last.  You can order these boxes on a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription which will be delivered to your door or they also have one off gift boxes.  The idea of getting a beautiful little package for your baby tailored to their developmental and physical needs is lovely.  Much like the Finnish State concept, it takes the hassle out of buying and choosing.  These gorgeous boxes of goodies also make a wonderful gift especially for a new mum.

The giveaway:  One lucky winner will receive one Almondella gift box that has been put together specially for them based on their babies age and sex.

To enter:  Simply leave a comment below with your babies age and sex.

One entry per person and this competition is open to all my readers worldwide – yay!  The competition closes at midnight (UK time) on Sunday 25th May 2014.  Any entries after this time will not be counted.  The winner will be announced on this post and on my facebook page on Tuesday 27th May 2014.

This giveaway is now closed.   The winner is Maxine.  Congrats Maxine!

"kids-clothes-giveaway"When your first child is born, I think most parents tend to go a bit camera crazy.  I know we were super snap-happy!  We have tons of photo’s of Anya’s first 6 months, then a quite a few of the next 6 months but after that the photo collection really seems to fizzle out.  Recently while going through my photos I realised this and saw that I wasn’t taking nearly enough photo’s of her anymore.  Sure, we still take them at big occasions like her birthday, holidays, her first day of school but not enough of her playing in the park, going out for a family meal or just being silly at home.

So I thought it would be fun to photograph Anya in her favourite place, the park, but it would be even better to combine this with my other passions – kids style and this blog.  So I teamed up with Juliana of Captured by Juliana (a family and kids photographer) and Nick from French Blossom to bring you this fun shoot. And as it’s my first blog shoot, I wanted to celebrate with a fantastic giveaway for you too (read on to find out more about the giveaway and how to enter). "emile et ida fall winter 2013"Most of the clothes worn by Anya on this shoot are by Emile et Ida.  If you already know this French brand, I’m sure you are a fan… who isn’t?!  But if you haven’t heard of Emile et Ida, prepare to fall in love.  Very chic, very playful with a touch of retro, Emile et Ida is probably my most favourite French brand out there at the moment.  Anya loved wearing the clothes and had great fun on the shoot.  None of the shots are posed… Juliana just let her be and do what a 4 year old does in a park and took photo’s as Anya played and did her thing. "emile et ida winter collection 2013"The giveaway:  The winner gets to choose any one item of clothing from the Emile et Ida range at French Blossom in the size of your choice.  If I could enter, I know what I would choose but more importantly, what will you choose?  I adore the cat print dress worn in the first photo but there is also a very cool cat print sweatshirt (not shown here).  There are beautiful skirts and cool stuff for boys too so you may have a hard time choosing!

To enter:  Simply like ebabee and French Blossom on Facebook and then leave a comment below to say you have done so.  If you already like the pages, then just say so in the comment.  All 3 things are mandatory.

One entry per person and this competition is open to all my readers worldwide.  The competition closes at midnight (UK time) on Sunday 6th October 2013.  Any entries after this time will not be counted. Winner will be announced on this post and on my facebook page on Tuesday 8th October.  This giveaway is now closed.  The winner of this giveaway is Abigail Fahey. Congratulations Abigail!

* This is not a sponsored post.  I thought a shoot was a fun way to share these lovely clothes.  All the clothes were loaned by French Blossom for the purpose of this shoot and have been returned and the talented kids photographer Juliana very kindly did the shoot.  All dresses and tops by Emile et Ida, tights by TroiZenfants and black skirt and shoes were our own.

Today I have a fantastic giveaway for you so read on…

"wooden toy kitchen"I have a very dear friend who is quite a bit older than me and she has 2 kids in their late teens.  I go over to her place often with my 4 year old who isn’t usually a fan of accompanying me to places where there are no young kids but this friend’s home is an exception.  Simply because my daughter always gets delightful wooden toys to play with and sometimes even gets to take a couple home.  My friend has saved many of her kids wooden toys from 15+ years ago because she loves them for the memories they hold and intends to one day pass them on to her grand kids.   That’s the thing with wooden toys, they never go out of fashion and can be played with from one generation to the next.

"wooden toys musical instruments"I too am a huge wooden toy fan and have kept all the ones that Anya has collected over the last 4 years.  I’ve perched them on some shelves in her room and for now they serve as colourful and fun decorations that bring splashes of colour to her room.  So I’m delighted to introduce you to the Wooden Toy Shop which as the name suggests, does nothing but wooden toys.  And I’ve teamed up with them to bring you a fantastic giveaway.  One lucky reader will win a £75 voucher to spend on whatever they like at the Wooden Toy Shop.  The choice is entirely yours.

"wooden stacking toys"The Wooden Toy Shop sell some of my favourite brands like Brio, Plan Toys and Janod.  They have toys, games and puzzles for babies, toddlers and older kids.  There’s a lot of choice so it doesn’t matter if you have a 1 year old or 7 year old, there’s something for every kid.  If the choice was mine, I think I’d go for one of their play kitchens or maybe even the BBQ set since summer is coming up but more importantly, what will you choose?

GIVEAWAY ENTRY DETAILS:  One lucky reader picked at random will win a £75 voucher to spend on toys of their choice from the Wooden Toy Shop.  For your chance to win just leave a comment below… easy!  Say hi or whatever you like but keep it nice!  One comment per person.  Sorry, but this giveaway is open to UK residents only.  The competition closes at midnight (UK time) on Sunday 5th May 2013.  Any entries after this time will not be counted.  The winner will be announced on Tuesday 7th May on our facebook page and on this post.  And finally thanks to the Wooden Toy Shop for this generous giveaway.  Good luck!

This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks to everyone who entered.  The winner is Amy Turner… congratulations Amy!

"halloween giveaway competition"

Are you a Halloween lover or hater?  I used to love it as a kid and now I love it because of my kid, who this year is old enough to get it, and is so, so excited about buying a pumpkin.  I’m not crazy about the whole spooky and creepy crawly side of it but that doesn’t really matter as there are so many creative ways to celebrate Halloween without a bat in sight!  This year I wanted to do something a little special to celebrate Halloween with you and I found the perfect opportunity with Room Cph who have kindly agreed to give away these Lego Halloween storage heads.  You’ll find all the details of how to enter at the end of this post.

Room Cph are a Danish design house who work with cool brands like Lego and Pantone Universe by taking their existing products and putting a new, highly creative spin on them.  It was Room Cph that designed the Lego storage and lunch boxes (in close collaboration with Lego) that have become quite the Lego design icon.  Now they’ve introduced their latest creations which are these two Halloween themed Lego storage heads – a pumpkin head and a skeleton head that I’m giving away.  They also sent my daughter one of the brick storage boxes in fuchsia and she’s already filled it to the brim with all her little treasures (read junk).  But I’d much rather it in the box than strewn all over the house getting under my feet!

Lego is one of those brands that I think everybody has a soft spot for.  It was around long before I was born and I know it will be around when I have grand kids.  That’s some going!  So if you fancy a bit of Halloween Lego for your kids room, enter my giveaway and you could be the lucky winner.  Happy Halloween!

GIVEAWAY ENTRY DETAILS:

One lucky reader picked at random will win both the Lego skeleton storage head and the pumpkin storage head.

For your chance to win these storage heads, just leave a comment below… easy!  Say hi or whatever you like but keep it nice!  One comment per person.  Entry is open to UK residents only for this giveaway.  The competition closes at 8am (UK time) on Halloween day (Wednesday 31st October 2012).  Any entries after this time will not be counted.  The winner will be announced on Friday November 2nd on our facebook page and on this post.  Good luck!

"Flensted elephant mobile"

It’ GIVEAWAY time and discount time… read on to find out more.

When I was close to popping pregnant it finally dawned on me that I should start shopping sharpish.  One of the first things I looked for was a mobile.  I schlepped my heavily pregnant body around the stores only to come home mobile-less and disappointed.  I was about to give up when I went online and discovered the wonderful world of Flensted mobiles.  Made on a little Danish Island by the Flensted family for nearly 60 years, these mobiles are objects of beauty.  And I’ve got one of these beauties to give away to one lucky reader, thanks to the lovely peeps at a hot new store called Bebe Moda.  All you have to do is leave a comment below (say hi or whatever you like but keep it nice!) before midnight on Sunday 31st July and I’ll randomly pick a winner on Tuesday 2nd August.

More about Flensted mobiles: on offer are mobiles for kids and adults.  There are animals, there are shapes, there are objects and people mobiles, all different but they have one thing in common… huge style.  There’s nothing fussy or frilly about them, just simple silhouettes that combine in colours so complimentary creating an absolute treat for the eyes.  And to be honest, the pictures don’t do complete justice to these smile inducing beauties… when you see one for real you’ll know exactly what I mean. The hardest bit is choosing just one but luckily we’ve chosen one of the sweetest for you to win… who doesn’t like elephants after all!

Leave a comment below for your chance to win the elephant mobile pictured at the top of this post. Really, that’s all you have to do, we couldn’t have made it easier.  There can of course only be one winner so the lovelies at Bebe Moda have decided to offer all my readers a special 10% discount on anything across their entire stylish store. Their virtual shelves are piled high with only the coolest toys, baby gear and nursery stuff and there are many hard to find brands on offer too so have a look around (shipping’s free to the UK too… hooray!).  The discount code is EBABEE07 and expires at midnight on Sunday 31st July too.

A quick round-up of the rules:

The Flensted mobiles competition is open to my European and USA readers. One entry per person – just leave a comment below.  Competition closes midnight on Sunday 31st July 2011 (GMT). Winner will be announced on Tuesday 2nd August on the ebabee facebook page.  Good luck!

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.  The winner picked at random.org is Lucy Bartram.  Congrats Lucy and thanks to everyone who entered.
