Wear your veggies!

Things do not get much cuter than these new veggie inspired hand knitted clothes from Oeuf. While your fussy eaters may not eat their veggies, you’ll have no trouble convincing your kids to wear them! All knitted in 100% baby alpaca wool, this adorable clothing collection couldn’t be more delicious! There are also some gorgeous matching veggie pillows in case you can’t get enough of your greens. But if it’s the proteins you’re missing, the fried egg hat is the one for you! Just too cute – I mean look at that aubergine baby – so cute it hurts!

Gorgeous Summer knitwear

Do you do knitwear in Summer? I am so in love with this Spanish range of handmade knitwear for kids. These bright and colourful cotton knit sweaters are perfect especially for those cooler Summer days. Aren’t the colours just gorgeous? All of these sweaters are unisex and handmade to last so they can be passed down from one sibling to another. In addition to the sweaters, there are cardigans too and like the sweaters, many have contrasting coloured pockets which are so cute. The sweaters even come in larger sizes for women. While I am not in to wearing matching clothes with Anya, I think I would have to make an exception for these cotton sweaters. Perhaps navy for me and yellow for her.

With Winter on it’s way, it’s time to bring those woolens out. I love big chunky knits or anything knitted and if it’s hand-knitted, even better. My mum-in-law is the chief knitter in this family so I’m hoping there will be some delightful new Winter knits for Anya soon. If you’re in to knitting, you have to check out these gorgeous patterns by Paelas. Mostly for babies, the little wool suits, hats and jumpers are just too adorable for words. And if not for your own babies, what a lovely gift to give a newborn. Right now I’m really wishing I knew how to knit!

Timeless hand knits for babies and kids

I’ve always been a huge fan of hand knitted baby and kids clothes and these ones are my latest obsession. Not trying to be fashionable or trendy, these are charming clothes made by hand and made to last through generations. I’m lucky enough to have a mum-in-law who knits for Anya so I have bags full of baby knits that I’m saving for the next generation. But if I didn’t, I know I would invest in some timeless classic pieces like these, that will never go out of style. These knitted baby and kids clothes by Hambro & Miller currently go from 0 to 4 years but will soon go up to eight years and there’s even a homewares range coming soon. Oh my god, how unbelievably cute is this collection? I nearly died when I saw this in my inbox a couple of days ago. Even though it’s Summer and the sun is shining, I just had to share. This Autumn Winter 2014 collection of baby knits is all made from 100% soft and cosy merino wool and each piece is hand-knitted in Peru.

Have you died yet?! Can you bear all this crazy cuteness?

All the colours in the collection are gorgeous but I’m especially loving the pale grey-blue. And those bauble vest tops are beyond adorable as are the all in ones. I am deeply in love with the knits but also with these pudgy, squishy little babies that make the most adorable little models, don’t you think? This hand knitted collection of baby clothes is special and made with lots of love and care by a mama who knows exactly how to make us all feel broody!

Retro inspired baby knits

I just had to share the cuteness that is tricot retro. I don’t know anyone who isn’t partial to hand knitted baby clothes and these retro inspired knits are so adorable. They are mostly knitted in cotton so can be worn in any season. And besides the sweet styles, I love the way they’ve been presented. Each piece is made to order which means that you can request a specific colour, a different sleeve length or change any other detail. That green and white striped outfit worn by the alligator is probably my favourite piece but really I love everything.
