With the weather turning colder I’m turning to one of my favourite daytime looks of chunky knits, skinny jeans and boots. This season I’m loving Cos for their over-sized knits for me but when it comes to kids, it gets a lot tougher to find chunky jumpers. The chunky look works well on kids too and besides, it keeps them so warm and cosy. So I was delighted to find babaa who make these comfy, cosy and snug looking sweaters in lots of bright colours. The styles are all over-sized for comfort and to allow room for growth and they’re all pretty much unisex so they can be handed down from sibling to sibling. From Spain, babaa are also soon introducing a line of women’s knits… perfect timing for those cold months ahead of us.

Sweet hearts…
September 18, 2013
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of heart adorned stuff for kids. A lot of it isn’t for me but sometimes, when it’s kept simple, it can be super sweet like that black and white baby blanket. So here are my current favourite {sweet} heart picks:
1. Two hearts poster by Seventy tree, 2. Louis Louise heart print duvet cover from smallable, 3. Jess Brown Wovenplay doll from Miniluu, 4. Knitted heart baby blanket by Yarning made, 5. Oeuf NYC heart sweater, 6. Mini hearts wall stickers by Ferm Living.
Cool chunky knits…
October 15, 2012
Come the winter months, I love throwing on a chunky knit with a pair of skinny jeans and knee high boots. It’s an effortless everyday look that works every time. I wanted to create a mini version of this look for my daughter but finding nice chunky knits for kids proved to be impossible until I stumbled across Cotton and Milk. A relatively new line of {mainly} knitwear for kids, there is an understated style about these pieces mixed with a touch of vintage which I’m loving. Created by British designer Justine Glanfield who is based in Brussels, Cotton and Milk make stylish knits for both boys and girls. Apart from the wonderful clothes, I love the creative way in which they’re presented too. You can see and buy their current collection over at Line + Liv {a great boutique for kids clothes} or visit Cotton and Milk to see previous collections too.
