donna wilson aw15 collection

I have been a huge fan of all things Donna Wilson for a long time.  If you already know Donna Wilson, you’ll know that her designs are always colourful and playful.  The designs are just as much for adults as they are for kids which is what I love about her creations.  So I wanted to share some of my favourite pieces from her gorgeous new AW collections.  How cool is that women’s bear shawl?  It’s a super cute shawl but I also love it as a rug or a throw on a kids bed.  And the new melamine plates and bowls are really quirky too like that hungry wolf tray which I love for adding a bit of fun to my kitchen.  Now back to the giveaway.

Have you checked out our ebabee shop recently?  We have a selection of some of the cutest fashion for Summer including this versatile bear tee.  This white bear t-shirt is quirky and cool, much like a lot of the Korean fashion we have on offer.  It can be mixed and matched with skirts, trousers, shorts and even bloomers.  Here are three looks we are loving with the bear tee:

Korean fashion for kids UK

First up, for a striking look pair the bear t-shirt with our feather print skirt and how about adding those fun fried egg knee socks to complete the look?

Next, we’re loving these cute green bloomers with the tee and those mustache knee socks just complete the look.  A sweet Summer look!

Last is the bear tee with our gorgeous peachy-pink tutu.  The subtle gold band of the tutu skirt perfectly compliments the gold crown on the t-shirt.  A stylish party look for any little girl.

Peachy & playful…

April 23, 2015

peach summer clothes girlsI’m a big fan of playful clothes for kids of any age.  Who said rompers should only be for babies?  Even though Anya is six, I still want her to have lots of fun clothes in her wardrobe – heck I even want some for myself!  So I went looking for fabulously fun clothes and accessories in peach for the coming Summer months and here are my favourites.  I cannot resist that Mr Shy romper and those ice-cream knee socks are just too cute too:

1. cat pocket sweater | 2. ice-cream knee socks | 3. apple print shorts | 4. ines romper | 5. mr. shy romper | 6. fruity tee

"knee high socks outfits kids"

How adorable is the knee high socks look?  Not as warm as tights but it looks so cute with skirts, dresses and even shorts and bloomers.  I love this look as it adds so much style without much effort.  It’s not practical of course in the depths of Winter but as soon as Spring starts to come and even in the cooler Summer days, I know I want to find a load of knee-high socks for Anya.  You can add a pop of colour to muted outfits with a bright pair of socks, go for a matching look or it’s a great way to add a pattern or print to a plain outfit.  You can change the whole look of an outfit just with a pair of socks and it looks totally adorable!  Do you know any fun and colourful ranges of knee high socks for kids?  I’d love to know.

"cute Winter hats scarves tights for kids"

Winter has literally arrived overnight.  This morning I was rummaging around Anya’s wardrobe and mine to pull out all our Winter scarves, hats and gloves.  While I always dread the cold, I do love the fashion that goes with it especially the accessories.  They keep you warm and they look so good.  Especially the stuff out there for kids.  From playful and fun accessories like these to more minimal styles, there is something for every taste.  Today I’m loving the idea of adding a playful twist to a kid’s outfit so I’ve rounded up some of the cutest and most fun Winter accessories out there.  Those leopard print knee-high socks – want!

1. smiley socks | 2. cat hoodie  | 3. cat face tights | 4. snake scarf | 5. mouse mittens | 6. mask beanie hat | 7. leopard print socks

mama & baby…

"polka dot cushion"This week’s picks for mama & baby… let mama wear these polka-dotted knee high socks while baby decorates his room with that spotty cushion.

"green french accessories for girls""red french accessories for girls"Emerald green or ruby red… what would you choose?  These are the gorgeous new accessories from the Spring Summer 2013 collection by April Showers.  French and fabulous, April Showers always, always delights with each new season.  Their accessories are feminine and pretty and would delight any little girl.  Those sparkly socks would excite my daughter no end and the beaded necklaces with the tassel detail are just so chic, I want them for myself.  There’s lots more to the collection including some black and white pieces for babies and some cool shoes and knee high socks for little girls.  When I saw this collection at My Little Square, it was the rich, deep colours that first grabbed my attention but I just can’t say whether I like the ruby red or the emerald green more… I adore them both so much!  Have you chosen your favourite?

Fun accessories…

"pretty accessories for girls"Accessories can really make an outfit.  I recently bought a dress for my daughter which can only be described as a very plain A-line dress in burgundy.  It’s the kind of dress that you would probably pass over on the rail, let alone buy.  But it came with a detachable pearl studded collar that really made the dress.  Since it’s removable, the collar can be used on any plain top or dress to bring it to life.  I think I actually bought the dress just so I could have the collar.  This dress just showed me again how the right accessories can completely change an outfit and even add a bit of drama or whimsy to any look.  Now I just need to remember to accessorise myself more often!  But that aside, I went looking for more accessories for little girls and these were my favourite finds.  I love them all but that dramatic feathered hairband is just so cool.  Here’s where you’ll find them:

1. Foam flower necklace… 2. Feather hairband… 3. Lace collar… 4. Dotted socks in cherry

A few accessories…

"pretty pink accesories for girls"

I think accessories on big girls and little girls look great but I don’t do nearly enough accessorising.  I quite simply forget!  I really want to change this habit and start adding that extra touch to every outfit for my daughter and me.  I love the idea of going for muted coloured clothes and then adding hints of bold and bright colour through the accessories.  I came across that neon and gold necklace today which I loved and that’s what reminded me of the need for accessories in my life!  So I first went looking for some for my daughter and these are 4 that I loved:

1.  Neon and gold necklace by Lieschen Mueller… 2.  Hand-knitted hooded scarf by Ketiketa… 3.  Ilva baby socks with stripe detail by April Showers… 4. Elephant hair ties by Melissa Abram.
