"winter boots for kids UK"

Every Winter I buy Anya a pair of boots.  I like to go for a style and colour that will go with everything so that I need only one pair.  This year I discovered a new online shop full of the most adorable Winter boots for kids.  Many of their styles and brands are ones that I haven’t seen in the UK so when they offered to send Anya a pair of boots my only problem was which pair to choose – they’re all so cute!  In the end we chose the orange Ocra boots which Anya loves.  They’re soft and are lined with fur making them very warm and cosy.  The orange colour is bright enough to please a child but not so bright as to clash with everything.  In fact the colour is quite unusual and hard to describe but I would call it a muted rusty orange that really can be worn with anything.

"European shoes for kids"

I adore little feet have the sweetest kids boot collection I’ve seen in a long time.  Lots of boots for boys, girls and toddlers by many European designers including a gorgeous brand which is new to me – Zecchino d’Oro.  The boys boots are no less stylish with colours ranging from soft greys to bright blues.  The green boys boot with the jigsaw puzzle imprint is one of my favourites and for girls I love those navy ones with gold hearts.  Aren’t they adorable?  I adore little feet are having a mid-season sale at the moment so there’s 25% off everything till the end of the month and they ship worldwide.  If you had to choose, which would you go for?

Focus on feathers!

October 22, 2014

Skirts are one of my favourite pieces of clothing for little girls, especially in Winter.  I love how you can create so many different looks with one simple skirt by mixing and matching with different tights, leggings and tops.  Add a pair of boots or a pair of Mary Janes to change the look yet again.  One of my favourite skirts in my new shop is this feather print skirt.  From the deep rusty red colour to the bold black feathers and the flared style, I think this skirt is such a great piece that can be worn in so many ways through the Winter.  So here are a few ways I would mix and match with different tops and tights or socks:

"feather print skirt ebabee shop"LOOK 1
Glitter animal sweatshirt | Feather print skirt | knee high socks | black leather boots

LOOK 2
Pleated panel jumper | Feather print skirt | Striped footless tights | Gold ankle boots

Bright yellow cardigan | Feather print flared skirt | Glittery grey tights | Slip-on shoes with face detail

LOOK 4
Striped tee | Feather print skirt | Star print tights | Floral print boots

I love a bit of mixing patterns and prints so I’ve gone for some of those looks.  I also love wearing unexpected colours together – like the rusty red tights with the purple boots. My favourite look is probably the first one with the animal sweatshirt.  What’s your favourite look?

P.S. My shop is one week old today!  I still can’t believe I’m writing the words ‘my shop.  I’ve been overwhelmed with the positive response from you guys so thank you so much.  And thank you to all of you have have bought – hope you love the clothes as much as I do – nomita x

4 ways to wear boots

boots-test1

I couldn’t imagine getting through Winter without my boots.  This is not only for the comfort and warmth they give but also for the endless styling possibilities.  The same is true for Anya;  come October we go and get her a pair of boots that usually last her till Spring.  And then I practically make her wear them everyday that she’s not in uniform.  I’ve picked out 4 girls boot looks that I’m loving and getting inspired by:

1.  For the littlest girls, ankle boots are perfect and I love the idea of wearing them with a very girly tutu.  2.  Boots and skinny jeans are made for each other but you can also add a blazer for a slightly more dressed up look (as Anya wears).  3.  Mini skirts or mini dresses with knee high boots always look stylish.  4.  Knee high socks peeking out over the top of boots look really cool and I love the scarf thrown in to finish the look.
