"Christmas gift ideas for babies"

When I recently asked on my facebook page if you would like a Christmas gift list this year, I got a big fat yes from many of you.  So today I start my Christmas 2014 gift ideas.  To kick off the gifts, I wanted to share some ideas for babies.  Babies can be hard to buy for because they don’t actually need anything other than love, milk and their mamas and dads.  But that doesn’t mean that we can’t spoil them anyway.  From sweet little toys to cute and cozy clothes, here are some Christmas gift ideas for little baby boys:

1. fish rattle | 2. animal mittens and hat | 3. knit trousers | 4. milk musical toy | 5. bear blanket | 6. bunny night light | 7. striped teddy soft toy | 8. cuddly panda | 9. crown sweater | 10. grey baby booties

"stocking fillers for babies and kids"Since my daughter Anya’s birthday is so close to Christmas, we have started a tradition of only giving her a nice stocking for Christmas and no other gifts.  I’m not a fan of overloading kids with gifts so this works out well.  I started buying stocking fillers a while ago but need a few more so have been looking around.  While searching, I came across some fun things for boys, girls and babies and thought I would share my finds with you:

1.  elephant pillow,  2.  set of 5 monster bookmarks,  3.  magic trick box,  4.  cut out and make lion puppet,  5.  Christmas sonny angels,  6.  stacking tiger game,  7.  starry hair clips,  8.  dinosaur finger printing set,  9.  bunny wall sticker,  10.  colourful animal notebooks,  11. yellow wooden skipping rope,  12.  teddy bear hats.

"christmas gift ideas for mums" Today here are some gift ideas for mamas.  I’ve rounded up mainly accessories and smaller gifts because these are the kinds of things you probably wouldn’t buy for yourself but would love to receive as a gift.  I hope you enjoy them!

"Christmas gifts for newborns and babies" Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I haven’t!  I keep telling myself it’s only November so there’s plenty of time.  But in reality I know these next few weeks are going to whiz by and then serious panic will set in.  While I continue to procrastinate on my shopping,  I have started getting some fun gift ideas ready for you and the first one (probably my favourite) is a list of lovely Christmas gifts for babies.

1.  Oeuf NYC baby all in one,  2.  pompom beanie,  3.  bow-tie bib,  4.  musical pram toy,  5.  bunny soft toy,  6.  bunny baby bodysuit,  7.  elephant pillow,  8.  knitted cotton blanket,  9.  sand coloured baby booties.

"French toys for kids"

Today’s Christmas gift guide is a selection by French Blossom, my sponsors.  French Blossom is a kids store started by husband and wife team Nicholas and Meriem.  Even though they don’t have kids (yet), having met and lived in Paris for many years, Nicholas and Meriem were ‘inspired by the exquisite elegance and style devoted to children’s clothing, toys and decoration in France’.  As Nicholas explains, ‘the idea behind French Blossom is to – ‘Celebrate French Fashion for Children,’ and to exclusively showcase chic and stylish independent French children’s designers’.  So I thought this Christmas, it would be fun to ask them to choose their favourite gift ideas from their store and I also wanted to find out a bit more about how they spend their Christmas.  Here’s what they said:

Let’s talk Christmas! What do you love most about it?

Family time! Its great to all gather together, have fun and relax.

What’s a typical Christmas day for you?

We wake up and see if Father Christmas has been kind to us 🙂 ! We all then sit in the living room in front of the fire and Christmas tree, opening the presents as the lovely smells of the Christmas dinner wafts in from the kitchen.  After lunch we wrap up nice and warm and go for a walk to watch the annual swim in the sea.  There are hundreds of brave people, many dressed up in fancy dress costumes who swim in the freezing water.  Then there is a nice warm drink for everyone.  We haven’t done this swim yet but maybe this year!

Is your Christmas more French or more English?

Our Christmas is British; Meriem and I always go back to the UK for Christmas.  The only thing French is the wine on the table.

Anything you dislike about Christmas?

I don’t like when I have finished opening the last present, finished the wonderful turkey dinner or saying goodbye to relatives who have come over for the day
