A few weeks ago I mentioned a shop called Flora & Henri. It’s a little gem of a store in Seattle. When I came across them I wrote about some amazing wooden toy boats that they were selling. But their goodies don’t end there. They have their own collection of kids clothes that are so, so beautiful. Elegant, simple creations with bags of style is what you can expect. I’m loving the mint coloured sweater with the pleated skirt, the faux fur jacket is another winner and then there are the shoes that come in the most delectable colours. It’s all pretty fabulous stuff! You can check out their entire collection at Flora and Henri and the good news is that they’re currently having a big sale at the moment.

Nelly Stella: Charming clothes for girls
December 20, 2011
I recently discovered Nelly Stella and I loved what I saw. It’s a fresh and charming collection of clothes for the girlies. The collection is designed by Nelly Chen who was inspired by the clothes she always dreamed of wearing as a child. I’m loving the dresses on offer especially the one with the ruffles. Throughout the collection, there is a strong sense of style mixed with playfulness that makes these clothes so lovely. The colours for this Autumn Winter are rich purples and fuchsias complemented with softer and more neutral tones. All the clothes are unfussy, yet feminine… just the kind of thing that floats my boat. Head to Nelly Stella to check out the entire collection and you’ll also find a list of stockists on their site.
Delectable dresses by Anthropologie
November 23, 2011
Some time ago I wrote about the stunning clothes by Kicokids for Anthropologie. But the stunning kids clothes at Anthropologie don’t end there. There are some other lovelies on offer that have me drooling every time I look so I couldn’t help but share. And if you’re a regular here you’ll know how crazy I am about Anthropologie… what a store it is! Today’s obsession is for the dresses on offer especially the ‘Dotty Little Frock’ and the ‘Love Letters dress and bloomers’. I keep looking at them and wanting – they’re so feminine and gorgeous, how can anyone resist? Anthropologie have a way of creating things that are just so stylish and delectable and that’s exactly what these dresses are. The kids line isn’t available through the UK Anthropologie but you can order from the US Anthropologie who thankfully ship internationally.
Dominique Ver Eecke: Quirky and playful kids clothes
November 14, 2011
While browsing the Spanish online boutique Nobodinoz, I discovered Dominique Ver Eecke. I was instantly drawn to the wonderful children’s clothes that this Belgian designer creates. The clothes are bright and colourful, the prints playful and fun with a vintage vibe running through the creations. On offer are quirky dresses, skirts and cardi’s for the girls and shirts and trousers for the boys. I’m loving that all the pieces are statement’s in themselves but still work beautifully well together. Truly unique stuff. The photography too deserves more than a mention. The settings, the backdrops, the colours, all of it comes together for a magnificent feast for the eyes. You can find Dominique Ver Eecke’s children’s collection at Nobodinoz or Zoenkids, both of whom have a different pieces and ship internationally.

Scandinavian Minimall is a new(ish) kids boutique, still in it’s first year. The perfect match: Anthropologie meets Kicokids
October 21, 2011
I am so excited by this latest find. It’s the partnership of 2 seriously amazing American brands… Kicokids and Anthropologie. Kicokids make beautiful, whimsical clothes for children and the eclectic Anthropologie are one of the hottest women’s stores around. When I saw the creations they surpassed my high expectations, it is such a perfect match. The girls clothes combine just the right amount of whimsy and eclecticism resulting in creations that are so exciting. The mostly muted tones of the clothes are given unexpected splashes of bold colour while classic styles are given a unique modern twist. I am seriously in love… there isn’t a single piece in the collection that I wouldn’t want to buy. These delectable clothes are only available through the American Anthropologie site but thankfully they ship internationally.
Bobo Choses: Sizzlin’ hot summer style
March 7, 2011
I’ve been browsing the new Spring/Summer 2011 collection from Bobo Choses, the Spanish kiddy clothing and accessory house. I’m seriously in lust. Their cool, quirky designs coupled with simple graphics will appeal to kidlets as well their parents. But it’s not just the clothes that have got my pulse racing faster than the bulls of Pamplona. There’s even more hugely covetable stuff like the sunshine woven hat and the cherry embroidered rug (pictured last). They’ve even got the cutest little undies (they call’em panties) for the kids. Prices start from around £16 for a vest-tee and there’s lots in the £20-£30 range. To check out their collection visit Little Fashion Gallery*, the doyenne of kiddy style or for a slightly different range try Orfeo Design. I’m a sucker for kiddy threads with high doses of cool. And Bobo Choses is up there with the hottest of hotties.
*Update June 2014 – Sadly Little Fashion Gallery closed it’s doors.
