"range ton pyjama kids"

Ooh la, la… I’m liking this range of goodies by Range Ton Pyjama.  When I first spotted them I didn’t know what they were but I knew they looked darn cool.  With a little digging and some much needed help from good old google translate, I found out that they’re a range of yummy little French products for the kiddies.  At the top you’ve got table napkins, then a quirky, robot like pyjama case, a soft toy rattle and some little pouches to store whatever you like.  There’s more to the range including a mini hot water bottle (only made of grains, no water required)… so sweet.

Range Ton Pyjama offer everyday kids stuff but they’ve added bags of funky style.  To get this range, go over to Prairymood, a French store full of yummies.  Sadly, it’s only in French so you’ll need to don your French speaking hat or there’s always google translate.  The range costs from €11 – €34 and shipping is €15.50.

"marimekko kids""marrimeko kids""marimekko kids"

Ooh… hello Marimekko!  I’m a fan, a big fan of this Finnish design house.  When I last visited their central London store, they were shut but I spied staff in there.  I practically glued my face to the glass front, knocked and begged and pleaded to be allowed in… desperate or what?!  But I got in (I think they felt sorry for me).  Hey, whatever it takes and it was so worth it as I found these delectable kids suitcases.  I’m already crazy about their ‘Karkuteilla’ print which is what these diddy suitcases are adorned with.  One look and it had to be mine ebabee no.1’s.  After all it would’ve been rude to make them open shop and not buy anything… that’s what I told daddee no.1 anyway!

These little Marimekko kids suitcases are made of chunky cardboard and come in 3 sizes.  The colours are super vibrant and they make for a super cute accessory for a toddler.  Mine uses hers to carry her ‘treasures’ in when she’s out for the day and she does insist on carrying it herself.  The large one costs £18, the medium £16 and the small £14.  Best place to get it is the Marimekko store in London (020 74866454).  But you can get it online at the Finnish Design Shop although delivery is steep at €15.

P.S. Here’s a sneak peak of ebabee no.1 with her’s…

"mimi lou bord school bag"

Elephants have long been a hot favourite around here.  They just work so well on kiddy stuff.  But recently I’ve been feeling the love for birdies too.  I’ve been finding some super lovely stuff embellished with birds and this school bag is no exception.  It’s so sweet!  The teeny tiny polka dots, the little delicate bird and the bold orange straps make for a bag so wantable.  Which little girl isn’t gonna want this?  Or for that matter, which big girl too.  This sweet bag is by the French Mimi’Lou who create some delicate looking delectables from wall stickers to stationary and more.  This bird school bag by Mimi’lou costs €45 and they deliver to most of Europe.

P.S. While it’s the bird that I’ve featured here, there’s also an equally delectable rabbit one for the boys.

P.P.S. Have you visited ebabee, our baby auction site yet?

"colourful hair grips for girls lale"

Yesterday was all about a brooch, today it’s about some stunning hair clips.  I seem to be on a bit of a roll with girly stuff, but sometimes that’s just the way it is.  And when they’re as wow as these, well they just have to be shared.  While I like girly stuff, I’m not a bows, frills and fuss type of mama as you know if you’re a regular here.  And these hairclips manage to be super girly yet so unfussy.  Just my kind’a thing.  As soon as ebabee no.1’s tresses are thicker, guess what?  Yup, she’s definitely getting some of these.  If you like them too, head on over to smallable.com where they cost £5.24 each.

Lale is fast becoming a hot favourite in the world of ebabee likes.  If you’re feeling the love too, then you’re absolutely gonna love these retro chic suitcases, also by Lale of course!

"lale suitcase""lale suitcase"

How super cute are these retro suitcases?  They’re gorgeous and I’m thinking no little girl (or big girl even) should be without.  Use it as storage indoors or better yet take it out filled with whatever stuff you can’t leave home without.  Made by the French Lale, there’s a range of deliciously chic retro prints on offer.  I can’t even begin to choose a favourite, so I’m not going to try.  They come in 2 sizes, small for the smalls in your life and big for the mama’s.  The mini ones measure 21x16cms and the maxi ones measure 39x29cms.  What a stylish hospital bag the big one would make for an expectant mama or even a very covetable retro diaper bag.  My hospital bag time has long passed but I’m seriously tempted for ebabee no.1.  You can get a selection from elias & grace for £40 for the small one and £60 for the big or try smallable.com who deliver internationally.

"bakker pre school bags"

I’ve been on a mission to find a little nursery bag for ebabee no. 1.  Result: mission accomplished and how!  I have just discovered the label Bakker: Made with love.  For me it was most definitely love at first sight.  The heart thumping, knee wobbling, pulse racing kind’a love.  The kiddy school bags by Bakker are delectable little things offered in the most shiny, glossy, vibrant colours ever.  The school bags come in 3 sizes from mini to large so there’s one for every size of pre-schooler.  Satchel shaped with sturdy shoulder straps and made of vinyl, they’re just so cool.  Also on offer are canvas versions of the same with prints so lovely and blingtastic limited edition ones in gold and silver.  The Bakker school bags cost from €32.50 with shipping at €13.50 from Little Zebra, a fabby little shop oozing with heaps of lovelies. The sunny, shiny  yellow vinyl one is my pick for ebabee no.1.

"moulin roty castle shadows"

Once upon a time, the toothless wicked witch of Moulin Roty decided she wanted to be a princess.  In the still of the night, she crept in to the thick forest behind the enchanted castle and began casting spells on the handsome prince.  That’s my story… what will yours be?  Or better yet what will your pre-schoolers be?  I’m enchanted, enthralled, spellbound almost by these dark castle shadows by Moulin Roty.  At bedtime, grab these shadows, watch their silhouettes dance across your nursery walls and let your bambino indulge in imagining what he will… will it be about a princess rescued form the wicked witch or a prince with a fairy godmother or an enchanted castle?  These shadows will make imaginations run riot.  The Moulin Roty castle shadows cost £12 with delivery at £4.50.  What a fantastical idea!

"pencil holder"

Dinoz the dinosaur is a funky little chap to store pencils in.  He comes in classic white, sunny yellow and hot pink.  He can also be used to hold herbs but for the kidlets he’s a quirky and fun way to get pencil tidy.  Dinoz the dinosaur costs £25.60 plus £4.90 delivery.  He’d also make an unusual gift for a bambino who’s big in to drawing and colouring.

"childrens storage boxes"Oooh I’m feeling the love for these diddy little suitcases in the funkiest of retro designs.  On offer are retro fish, flowers, elephants and more in glorious oranges, yellows and purples.  These aluminium toddler storage cases have a handle and can be used to store all those oh so important treasures.  Or take them out packed with a favourite toy, snack, or whatever your kiddee can’t leave home without.  They measure around 19 x 15cms, cost £10.99 + £3.50 delivery and are available from Peanut & Pip (a store so hot, you’ll want it all).  A little tip: enter code BACKSOON15 and you’ll get 15% off if you order by 22nd October.

"dabbawalla school bags"

These colourful little backpacks by dabbawalla* are just the ticket for pre-schoolers.  They measure 12 inches long x 11 inches wide and can be used to carry around all manner of stuff… lunch, toys, clothes, books.  I’m hearting them all but if I had to pick a fave, well it’s just got to be the elephant one.  They’re made of a material that I can’t spell but I do know that it’s exactly the same material as wetsuits.  Which thankfully means that you can stick them in the washing machine.
