One of the best parts of the changing of the seasons has got to be the new fashions that arrive. While the weather may not always do what it’s supposed to, at least we know that we will get new fashion to covet, each season. One of my favourite things to buy Anya each Spring/Summer season is a jumpsuit. They are so practical and easy to wear, allowing kids to move freely and do what they do. And with so many great jumpsuits for kids out there, it’s hard to resist. And not just for girls. There are some seriously cool jumpsuits for boys too – I’ve picked out some of the best below.

The best maternity jumpsuits
September 18, 2014
When I was pregnant, I didn’t come across a single maternity jumpsuit. I so wish I had. Jumpsuits are the perfect thing to wear when you’re pregnant because they’re comfy, flattering and stylish. They’re great for everyday casual and office wear but also for dressing up too. Some of the more formal ones would be such a great choice for an occasion especially in the later months of pregnancy when comfort matters most. But even the more casual ones can easily be dressed up with heels and accessories for an evening look. Versatile and easy to wear, for me the maternity jumpsuit is a pregnancy must have. I think if I had found a jumpsuit at the time, I would have worn it throughout my pregnancy and beyond!
I went looking for some of the cutest maternity jumpsuits and selected 7 of the best ones that I could find. I chose a mix of casual and formal so there’s a jumpsuit for every occasion:
1. black maternity jumpsuit with elastic waist | 2. nile blue wrap-top maternity jumpsuit | 3. grey cashmere onesie style jumpsuit | 4. grey lounging maternity legging jumpsuit | 5. high-waisted black pregnancy jumpsuit | 6. black wrap jumpsuit with leather belt | 7. low-waisted black jumpsuit with sheer chest and sleeves
Collected for mama & baby: Indigo hues
August 13, 2014
Last evening we saw a rainbow and the colour that really stood out for me was indigo. It’s such a rich and striking colour that you can’t help but take notice of it. I think it’s a great colour to wear for for most skin tones and works so well with so many other colours. Take that colour block kids skirt – how stunning does the pink look against the indigo? Here are a few beautiful indigo clothes and accessories that I came across for mama and baby:
1. pompom brooch for girls | 2. floaty jumpsuit | 3. indigo tinted sunglasses for women | 4. graphic onesie | 5. flared colour block girls skirt | 6. sequined blue converse boots for women
Summer style: The jumpsuit
August 7, 2014
Jumpsuits seem to be all the rage at the moment and I’m really loving this Summer trend. Easy to wear, comfy and they look so cool too. My favourtie jumpsuit purchase this season has been this super soft animal-esque print one for Anya. In muted deep plums and pinks almost bordering on brown, the colours are unusual and the style is fitted yet relaxed. It’s the perfect Summer outfit to ‘jump’ around in and Anya loves wearing it. Now I’m on the lookout for a jumpsuit for me before this glorious Summer is over. Would you wear a jumpsuit? Any suggestions for a cool and flattering adult one?
