I’m finally back from my wonderful holidays but have had a rather hectic Monday morning. So I thought I would do a quick Monday post and share this charming vintage tricycle with you. As you know, I do love a good vintage find and fell for this tricycle the minute I saw it. It’s from the 1920’s and looks beautifully made. I’m sure it would be as much of a joy to ride as it is to look at.
I’ve had my eye on this scooter by Svan of Sweden for a while. I’m loving the quirky shape with the smooth curves and the super sleek birch wood. Called a scooter, I would describe it more as a ride-on toy. But a fabby ride on toy with unusual looks and rubber wheels so your wooden floors will stay scratch-free. The Svan wooden ride-on is suitable from 18 months to 36 months but is definitely a keeper for the 2nd, 3rd (even 4th) child, if you have them! It costs £69 plus £9.90 delivery from Funktionalley.
Billy rocker is a cardboard rocking horse that’s a bit unusual. It’s brought to you by Mr Kaliski who’s left you with a blank canvas to put your mark on. Paint it, wallpaper it, sticker it, the choice is yours. But don’t stop there, give it a head, a tail, some horns even. And it’s reversible so one side each to keep the peace, if you’re got 2 toddlers. It can be flat packed, is suitable from 3 years on and takes weight up to 50kgs. This cardboard rocking horse costs £21.60 (currently reduced from £24) from Yellow Lolly with delivery at £2.75.
