When I was growing up, the one thing that was strictly forbidden in our home was writing on the walls or sticking anything on them for fear of marking the walls.  But I still couldn’t resist sticking one teeny-tiny sticker just on the side of my bed and I’m pleased to say (thankfully) my mother never discovered it.  In those days, the stickers were very glue-y and stain-y as there was no such thing as wall stickers.  But how I wish there were.  If somebody had given me super cute wall stickers like these ones by Swantje & Freida, I would have been the happiest kid on the planet!  I mean how sweet are these stickers?  And of course with wall stickers like these, there are no marks on the walls so my mother would’ve been delighted too.

These stickers have been created by Swantje, a graphic designer from Cologne and the main character featured is Freida – the girl with the red cheeks.  She is adorable as are the other characters and animals.  This range has been created specially for Poisson Bulle which is where you’ll find them but Swantje also does some other delightful illustrations for kids which will bring a big smile to your face… promise!
