best rugs for kids rooms

If, like me, you’ve got wooden floors in your home, you’ll know just how important rugs are.  They make your floors feel so much cosier.  Throw a few cushions on your rug and it’s the perfect place to curl up and read a book or play a game or just snooze.  Besides, a big area of wooden flooring always looks much better when broken up with rugs.  And it’s exactly the same in a kids room – kids especially love to play on the floor so why not make the floor space as cosy, fun and inviting as possible.

Finding rugs though isn’t always easy.  A lot of the modern and contemporary rugs can look quite same-y and a bit boring for a kids room.  I am hunting for rugs at the moment for nearly all our rooms including Anya’s room.  So I thought I would share some of the cool rugs for kids rooms that I’ve discovered.  All of them are so fun and will fit in to any room, no matter what the colour scheme or style of decor.  And if you’re a monochrome lover like me, then these are even more so for you:
